The Ministry of Tomorrow (MOT) is an eco-fashion house dedicated to creating beautiful, ethical products with love and respect for all life on Earth. Our flagship production facility is based in Nairobi, Kenya, with a sister factory in Kolkata, India (ROC).

At MOT, we believe fashion can be more than something you wear, it can be a force for social and environmental good. Our mission is to infuse soul into commerce by using fashion and textiles as a vehicle for positive change. Every product we create is designed to look and feel exceptional while uplifting the people, communities, animals, and ecosystems connected to our supply chain.

We proudly use cruelty-free, 100% certified organic Fair Trade cotton sourced from India. Through our partnership with the Chetna Organic Farmers Association, we support more than 6,000 organic farmers who are committed to sustainable agriculture, fair compensation, pesticide-free farming, food security, and improved rural livelihoods.

MOT is committed to an ethical and environmentally beneficial approach in all aspects of business. Our goal is to consistently strive to minimize the environmental impact of our production and trade and to benefit every person involved in the process, from the cotton collector in the field to the product packager at the facility.

Environment

Our products are certified under GOTS (Global Organic Textile standard). Textiles are made from certified organic cotton and dyed using low impact certified dyes. No heavy metals, chlorine, dangerous Azo dyes, or banned chemicals are used.

Social

We are certified under Fairtrade International and Fairtrade USA standards.

Soil Health

ROC enhances soil moisture retention, lowers CO2 concentration, sustains soil composition, improves biodiversity and crop performance. ROC benefits Soil Health by ensuring:

Regenerative Organic Cotton

Regenerative Organic Cotton is a revolutionary method of cultivating cotton which helps upturn the environmental effects of industrial farming. Its primary goal is to preserve long-term soil health through sequestering carbon, minimizing water and fertilization usage. It ensures the highest standards in the world for:

For over 20 years, The Ministry of Tomorrow has stood at the forefront of organic, eco conscious, and sustainable innovation. Built on the belief that commerce can be a force for good, MOT has dedicated its work to transforming the way products are made  beginning at the farm level by educating farmers about the importance of avoiding harmful pesticides, restoring soil health, and supporting regenerative, responsible agricultural practices.

Today, MOT is applying that same philosophy to one of the most intimate and essential parts of daily life: the linens we sleep in.

Modern consumers are beginning to understand that textiles are not neutral. Bedding, sheets, towels, robes, and other linens touch the skin for hours each day. Our bodies are constantly interacting with the materials placed against them, especially during sleep, rest, and recovery. Conventional fabrics may contain residues from pesticides, synthetic dyes, chemical softeners, finishing agents, and other substances used throughout the textile production process.

When those materials are used as linens, the importance of cleaner and more responsible textiles becomes even greater.

 

Linens are part of our most personal environments. They touch our skin, support our sleep, and influence the spaces where we restore our energy. With growing awareness around wellness, environmental chemical exposure, indoor air quality, and sustainable living, there is an increasing need for cleaner, safer, and more transparent textile choices. MOT recognizes that wellness is not limited to what we eat, drink, or put on our skin  it also includes the fabrics we sleep in and live with every day.

That is why MOT’s linen collection is created with certified organic cotton, ethical production standards, and a deep respect for human health and environmental impact.

From the farmers who grow the raw materials to the workers who craft the finished linens, every part of the supply chain reflects MOT’s long-standing values of dignity, sustainability, transparency, and accountability.

CHETNA ORGANIC

Chetna Organic began in 2004 as an Organic and Fair Trade Cotton Supply Chain Intervention Project in the rainfed regions of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra, India. What started with 234 farmers organized into 19 groups has grown into a powerful movement supporting thousands of farming families. In 2007, the Chetna Organic Farmers Association was officially registered as a nonprofit organization focused on sustainable agriculture, farmer empowerment, education, family nutrition, enterprise development, and environmental stewardship.

 Our manufacturing partners reflect our values of dignity, sustainability, and responsible production. We are proud to work with one of the world’s largest eco-conscious production facilities, employing more than 7,000 people and helping set a higher standard for ethical fashion.
